Mother Hajar : A Legacy that Will Stay on Forever

Eid Mubarak from SuccessMuslim and Islamforsalvation.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu-Alayhi-Wasallam) said :
“For every people (nation) there is a feast, and this is our feast (Eid). (Bukhari, Muslim)”

This great occasion is tied to a unique event, a unique city, a unique family, a unique women and a unique legacy she left behind.

The lady who ran, between two hills, in search of water for her little child.

The lady who knew that none who prays to Him is turned away disappointed and none whom He looks after is left abandoned.

The lady who left a great legacy behind…

During this sacred month and sacred day, we remember our great mother and her acts that will stay behind till the last man who will perform Hajj.

Yes, millions of people who perform Hajj every year cannot complete their Hajj without doing the very same act – running between the two Hills. The water she found, Zamzam, will also be left as a living legacy of her life.

Allah has decided that her life and memories remain a legacy that will stay on forever.

Yes, she was a great women and there are lessons for us to learn from this great life.
